Welcome to Silver King Farms!!
We are a small farm located in Punta Gorda, Florida. We raise Maine Anjou and Shorthorn cattle with the youth exhibitor in mind. We first got involved in the world of show cattle eight years ago when my oldest son, Christopher, got a bottle fed Braunvieh calf and joined the local 4h. Well at the county fair that year he won his class with his young heifer and was hooked on showing. We have since been working hard on building up our herd to include some of the top genetics to produce functional cattle as well as calves for the show ring. Some of the sires represnted in our herd include; Heatseeker, Heatwave, All About You, Myer 734, Sonny, Trump Card, About Time, Paddy O'Mally, Jazz, Hostage, Double Stuff, Pale Face and CF Fortune.
We are proud supporters of both 4H and FFA. Myself I am a 4H leader for the Top Choice Livestock Judging Club. At our farm we have held several clinics for the local 4H and FFA exhibitors to come learn more about raising steers and heifer. We also have donated several calves over the years to the local clubs to raise money.
