Norman

Norman is our new shorthorn bull calf. He is an ET calf out of CF Primo. Norman is a very complete shorthorn bull who is sound on his feet. We are looking forward to using him on our purebred shorthorn cows later this year.

"Gator"

Gator is our new club calf bull. He is sired by Heatwave and his Dam is out of Macho. He is a very heavy muscled calf with a extremly gentle disposition. We will be using him on our mature cows for show steers. We will use him later this year so look for in the fall of 2010 for his calves.

"Donald" (Ali x Maine)

Donald is our new herd sire, a reg. purebred Maine Anjou. We purchased Donald from Bentwood Maine Anjous in Richmond, Kentucky. Donald was the Res. Grand Champion Maine Anjou bull at the Kentucky Beef Expo. He sired by the great Ali who was the Maine Anjou sire of the year for 2007. We are expecting our first calves sire by Donald in Oct. 2008.

"Bonnie"(About Time x Maine Angus)

Bonnie is an Oct. heifer out of About Time that is currently being shown by Victoria Baker and later this year we will be breeding her. She is a big bone, heavy muscled, long bodied heifer. She was purchsed from Sid Griffitts out of Ok.

"Blueberry"(Double Stuff x Maine)

We purchased Blueberry from Dan Asklund in Ada, Ok back in 2006. Blueberry was 2008 Charlotte County Fair Grand Champion Heifer.

"Moonshine" Purebred Braunvhie

Moonshine was our first show heifer. She was a bottle fed baby my son got as his first 4H project. Moonshine was the start of Silver King Farms.

"Trixie" (Power Plus son x Draftpick)

Trixie is one of our newest calves born at Silver King Farms and we our very excited about her. Trixie has a very square hip, good bone, a clean front end. Trixie will be in our showstring for this year.

Ethel(Hostage x Angus)

Ethel has been a great cow for us. We purchased Ethel several years ago form Bill Johnson in Delon Springs. Her last calf is posted on the sale page, Bobby Socks.

Lucy (Heatseeker x Angus)

Lucy was my daughter, Victoria's show heifer. Lucy had a good show career she never placed lower then 3rd. Lucy is very sound, deep, and heavy muscled. Lucy has been a great cow that is a excellent miker. We are very excited to finally get a heifer calf out of her this year, Jellybean.

Splash (CF Tiger x Chiangus)

Splash is a reg. Shorthorn Plus that we purchased from Diamond M Shorthorns in Godfry, Il. Splash proved herself to a great cow with her first calf last year. Her calf, Delta, won Res. Grand Champion Shorthorn at the Charlotte County Prospect Show. Delta was kept to be a replacement heifer here at SKF. We are excited to see what Splash has this year.

Chole (Cigar x Limi)

Chloe has proven herself to be a great cow. We purchased Chloe from Bill Johnson in Delon Springs, Fl. Chole's first two calves were both sold as bulls. Her second bull calf, Magnum,  was Res. Grand Champion bull at the Charlotte County Prospect Show. Chloe is a large cow with lots of muscle and a great disposition. Chole has been AIed to Cherry Bomb due 8/29/08.
